Jetro Da Silva

Jetro has worked with some of the greatest artists in the world. Artists like Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Faith Hill, Brandy, Sheila E., 98º, Namie Amuro, Kim Jo Han, Emilio Santiago, Andrae Crouch and many others.

From composing music for television to performing with some of today's hottest stage acts, Brazilian-born keyboardist Jetro Da Silva has been in high demand since his relocation to the United States. This Boston-based musician most recently came off a world tour as the primary keyboard player for Whitney Houston. A major undertaking by any standard.

Houston's 1999 tour started in June and went into early November, covering both the United States and Europe. Of his experience on tour with Whitney Houston, Da Silva feels both honored and privileged. "It was a wonderful and very exciting experience playing for one of the best singers in history", he states. Jetro did the summer tour with Ms. Patti Labelle as her music director. Jetro recently was appointed as the new Assistant Chair of the Piano Department at Berklee College of Music, the school where jetro attended from 91 to 95 majoring in Music Production and Engineering.
